Dee Dee Leming, Teacher and Director of CVPP, graduated with honors from Los Medanos College and has worked as a professional expert in the preschool program at LMC. She is the recipient of the "Making a Difference in the Lives of Children" scholarship award. Her education also includes extensive training in Developmentally Appropriate Practices in Early Childhood Education and in the Reggio Emilia and High Scope philosophy of childhood development. She specializes in language development and works with the children in a warm, loving, nurturing environment.
In 2009, the Mayor of Concord proclaimed April 9 Teacher Dee Dee Day! In 2010, DeeDee was honored with the Teacher of the Year Award from the California Council of Parent Participation Nursery Schools.

Clayton Valley Parent Preschool is in a secluded location at the back of Concord United Methodist Church, at the corner of Clayton Way and West Street in Concord. Enter the church parking lot and drive to the rear of the church.
